Our Social Skills Groups are designed to support children in developing key skills that are essential for success in social settings. Led by skilled Occupational Therapists (OTs) and/or Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), these groups focus on a holistic approach to social-emotional learning, sensory-motor development, and effective group dynamics.

What We Work On:

  • Social-Emotional Learning: Helping children develop empathy, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and confidence in their social interactions.
  • Sensory-Motor Skills: Fostering coordination, motor planning, and sensory processing abilities to enhance comfort in group activities.
  • Group Communication & Dynamics: Encouraging positive communication skills, turn-taking, active listening, and problem-solving within a group setting.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Building essential group-working skills, promoting cooperation, and navigating challenges that arise in group interactions.

Why Join?
These interactive sessions provide a structured environment where children can practice new skills in a supportive and fun atmosphere. By learning how to manage their emotions, communicate effectively, and work with peers, children gain confidence and social fluency that benefit them both at home and in school.

Our goal is to help children build stronger relationships and feel more confident in their social environments. Whether it’s making new friends or succeeding in group activities, our therapists are here to support your child every step of the way.

We make our groups specifically for the needs of each child, so speak with your child’s therapist about joining a group!
