Celebrating World Autism Awareness Day today, and everyday, at Sensory Kids & Social Minds, LLC 🧠🌈🦄❤️ 🧩✨ Big news from our team! ✨🧠 🍀🌈 LUCKY TO LEARN THROUGH THERAPY AND PLAY! 🌈🍀 🧑🏽‍🚀🪐🚀 ASTRONAUT TRAINING 🚀🪐🧑🏽‍🚀 What is it? How does it work? Why do we use it at SKSM? How will it help your child? 💬🎤 Katie is a Speech-Language Pathologist trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding, which supports children with feeding challenges by allowing them to interact with food in a playful, non-stressful way. She is also trained in PROMPT, a tactile-kinesthetic approach that helps develop motor speech skills. Additionally, Katie uses Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework to support gestalt language processors in building meaningful, self-generated language. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, play-based, and centered around helping each child thrive in communication and feeding. 🍽️
